Dry needling utilises small filament type needles
Inserted into altered and dysfunctional soft tissues. This technique aims to decrease soft tissue pain, resulting in an improvement in both range and patterns of movement.
Dry needling is an increasingly popular adjunct technique in the treatment of a variety of conditions including amongst others, low back and neck pain, groin pain, “tennis elbow”, and “iliotibial friction syndrome” or runner’s knee.
