Physiotherapy Jobs - Want to progress your career?

We are always looking to expand our team with the addition of part or full-time physiotherapists, Pilates instructors and admin team members.

Keilor Road Physiotherapy is a young, vibrant, well-established practice with a strong commitment to the delivery of the highest quality, hands on physiotherapy care and Pilates instruction - only 10 km from the CBD. We have a state of the art, custom built premises, complimented by our dedicated New York style Pilates studio - with Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformers.

Working at KRP provides a genuine opportunity to gain high quality mentorship and direction in the management of spinal and sports injuries, in a practice where continuing professional development is an ongoing priority. All of our team members get the opportunity to work with highly experienced post graduate trained physiotherapists. This includes specialist physiotherapist Jenny Hynes (FACP). We have aspirations of being THE best Physiotherapy practice here in Melbourne, not only for our clients, but for our staff as well. Our team is our number one asset. We know that if we offer the absolute best healthcare workplace & highest levels of support, we will attract the best team and get the best patient outcomes (which is why we exist).

We have weekly, scheduled, hourly mentoring sessions as well as a fortnightly 2 hour session providing one on one and small group training of a standard rarely found in private practice.

A typical full-time clinical case load consists of predominately private patients. KRP has a solid community standing with the majority of our patients returning or referred by past patients.

Other benefits include:

- Training in the use of real time ultrasound.
- Brand new, on site strength and conditioning exercise studio.
- Friendly professional culture with plenty of fun.
- $500 annually to put towards PD of your choice, with other courses potentially paid at 50% if you we suggest you undertake them.
- Access to Physio Network and Clinical Edge, paid for by the practice.
- Hourly rate paid well above award rates with fortnightly bonuses.
- Clear ascension pathway within the practice.
- Flexibility with times and scheduling your working week.

New Graduate Program

Jenny Hynes (FACP) and our Post Graduate trained senior staff have personally developed an approach to an initial consultation and our signature systems for each commonly treated area of the body. These are how we would assess and treat everything, from the cervical spine to the ankle and how to plan ongoing management.

As part of the new graduate program you’ll get unprecedented access to Jenny 1:1, as you start out, to review patients and work on hands on techniques, for which you will be paid for.

Included in the new graduate program is diarised mentoring - 1 hour weekly with titled Sports Physiotherapist Robbie Webb and 2.5 hours fortnightly with Jenny Hynes and senior staff members. There will also be an overlap with senior staff every day you're in clinic. If we were to quantify the monetary value of the mentoring here at KRP, it would easily be in the $10,000's.

You’ll start with 1-hour initial consults and a small caseload. This allows new graduate physiotherapists paid time to shadow senior staff, study during your day if there's something you need to reflect on and ultimately take your time. It also allows us to construct your caseload, starting with areas of the body and particular injuries that you might be more comfortable with (which are screened through reception) with longer consult times if needed. We then progressively increase the types of injuries you see as a clinician, as mentoring and shadowing improves your confidence.

If you're passionate about progressing your career and being a stand out clinician, in a team that you can be proud of being a part of, ours is the team for you.
