Nicole Mairs
Physiotherapist

Nicole graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago, New Zealand.

Nicole worked as a physiotherapy assistant throughout her degree for the Men’s Premier Kaikorai Rugby team. Once graduated, Nicole completed her FIFA diploma in football medicine and went on to be the Women’s Premier Nelson Suburbs Football team Physiotherapist in New Zealand before relocating to Melbourne.

Having competed in tennis and basketball at a representative level and being a qualified assistant tennis coach, Nicole has a good understanding of the physical demands and the biomechanic makeup of the body. She has a particular interest in treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries but also working with older clients to optimize function and enable mobility for an improved lifestyle. Nicole’s experience working in private practice has helped develop her manual therapy skills and gain knowledge on evidenced-based exercises, along with self-management strategies, empowering patients to reach their personal goals.

Outside of the clinic, Nicole enjoys playing and watching tennis. As well as her passion for sport in general, Nicole loves the outdoors. Tramping, skiing, biking, running, and going to the gym are high priorities as well as spending time with family and friends. Nicole also loves to travel, gaining new experiences, and learning new cultures.
